Do I need a separate domain for my online store and business email?

No. You can use the same domain for both your online store and business email. For example, your online store can use mycompany.com while your business email uses addresses such as info@mycompany.com and sales@mycompany.com. The website and email can be provided by different services while using the same domain.

Can I use my .hk or .com.hk domain with my online store?

Yes. You can connect a Hong Kong domain such as mycompany.hk or mycompany.com.hk to a compatible e-commerce platform. Kowloon.hk provides the domain registration and DNS management, while the e-commerce platform provides the online store.

Do I need the Assisted Setup service?

No. You can complete the setup yourself at no additional cost if you are comfortable managing your domain and DNS settings. We provide the configuration information and guidance you need. If you prefer us to handle the initial technical setup, you can choose the one-time Assisted Setup service for HK$280.

What does the HK$280 Assisted Setup include?

The Assisted Setup service covers the initial technical setup of your domain, DNS, business email and e-commerce platform connection, together with a basic setup check. It does not include store design, product uploads, payment or shipping configuration, third-party platform subscriptions or ongoing store management.

Which e-commerce platforms do you support?

You can use your domain with compatible e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix and Squarespace. Our service focuses on the domain, DNS, business email and domain connection. Your e-commerce platform subscription and store management remain separate.

Will you design or manage my online store?

No. Store design and ongoing store management are not included. This includes choosing or customising themes, creating product listings, managing orders and maintaining your store. These services are handled through your chosen e-commerce platform or separately by you or your store designer.

What is the difference between the Lite, Plus and Standard email plans?

The main difference is the shared mailbox storage included with each plan. Lite includes 1GB, Plus includes 2GB and Standard includes 5GB. All three plans can use the same domain and support up to 100 email accounts.

Can I use my business email on my computer and mobile devices?

Yes. You can access your business email through Webmail or compatible email apps such as Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail and Mozilla Thunderbird. The service supports IMAP, SMTP and POP3 with secure SSL/TLS connections.
